Barbados' newest hot spot isn't on the beach; in fact, there's not a palm tree in sight. Low key lounging and contemporary dining and in an upmarket setting - this is Scarlet, the latest night-spot in Barbados. Up tempo and trendy in a room full of simmering energy, painted bright scarlet inside and out, with Jackie O and Marilyn Monroe portraits adorning the walls, this London style bistro-bar is a refreshing alternative to Barbados nightlife.

The large bar can accommodate a simple meal of a few nibbles and martinis, or choose from the a la carte menu featuring a mix of modern comfort food and Bajan dishes with a twist. Scarlet is open late and caters to the after midnight crowd, offering a hip, cool night spot with excellent food minus the high-end prices.

Located in Paynes Bay, opposite Daphne's, the entrance is located on the parking lot side.


Hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 5pm until.....closed Monday.
